Domaine Charton have cultivated vines in Bourgogne, in Mercurey, since 1941. Third generation and grandchild Vincent is now lead vigneron and winemaker with the invaluable support of his father and long-time custodian Jean-Pierre. Together the pair manage nearly 12 hectares of family vineyards all in the Mercurey appellation in the Cote Chalonnaise.

This village is at an altitude of between 230 – 320 metres, is particularly regarded for its unique composition of limestone and gravelly soils suited to delivering bright and pronounced fruit character in the wines.
